Purposeful Use Of Space.

As part of my work on the blueprint I realized I was being so aware of my use of time and resources but nearly oblivious to my use of space. Space is the most fundamental resource. And about as abundant as time! If you've started a project, opened a business, built a factory what is the first thing you do? You clear off space, buy land, lease floor space. Then what do you do? You organize that space. You split up and carve up that space by function and need. You arrange these chunks so they connect in a contiguous, smooth way that flows and conforms to your particular needs.

Blueprint for Success.

What would it take to have total agency over one's life? Total awareness, total focus, always there at the tip of your fingertips and the tip of your tongue?

What are the foundations, that once laid, unlock and enable a person to have the biggest impact on humanity, to maximize their potential?

A Cynical Career Guide.

I think sometimes we get an image like this is the way it is, but choose to live life without limits.

World Sustainability Plan

Moved by the Pope's Encyclical a few years ago, I've established my own sustainability plan. I've also been inspired recently by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development's 17 Sustainable Development Goals so much that I've decided to rewrite my sustainability plan in context of those goals.

How I Spend Every Day

I lead a pretty structured life. You'd think all that discipline would be productive but I am currently debugging why most of my goals for 2018 are unfinished.

Besides eating, sleeping, working and traveling (for which I reserve 2+8+8+2=20hrs) this is how I spend part of every day:

Rugged Watch Selection

Introduction
I've long wanted two things for my wardrobe: first a dress watch. Simple, classy, elegant, not too large. Second, a dive watch. Something that is more technical or sporty, but not too utilitarian or a "tool watch". In this article I'd like to explore the idea of a well made, well performing, classy, dive (or maybe aviation) watch with a bezel. I am curious to see what's available and what my expectations are for accuracy, looks and style and price point.

New Smartphone is a Disappointment

I must express my disappointment in my new smartphone. I thought upgrading from the dated, failing and left behind Samsung Galaxy S III to the larger, faster, updated Samsung Galaxy S6 would be just the tool I needed to bump my game to the next level. But it was not so.

On the plus side the updated audio provided a much higher fidelity listening experience. And the display is gorgeous. And the ambient light sensor actually works (even in the dark it can be adjusted to a reasonable level). The camera is significantly faster, more capable and higher resolution.
