Glass Practice

Now that I've picked up the very basics of glassblowing, I'd like to focus on honing those skills and learn to produce work a little more consistently.

The Plan:

  • Shapes (3 each, 3 different aspect ratios, total=36 pieces)
    • Cylinders
    • Bowls
    • Vases
    • Cups
  • Size (3 different aspect ratios, 3 times, total=36 pieces)
    • Cylinders
    • Bowls
    • Vases
    • Cups
  • Glass thickness (3 different wall thickness, 3 times, total=36 pieces)
    • Cylinders
    • Bowls
    • Vases
    • Cups

I want to expose myself to work that's beyond the basic shapes. Either more sophisticated versions of the basics or things that are altogether different. I also want to learn more about color and especially line and texture.
